Door lock problem

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Could be the lock mechanism on the drivers door sticking, give it a good cleanup and re-lubricate it, if you pop the door card off you'll get to the central locking actuator which may need lubing as well.

Mine does the same thing now and a gain,
ijust give the drivers door card a bash with side of my hand and then itl lock,
ithink the bar for the inside door Exit handle gets stuck slightly on the foam inside the door causing this to happen on mine,

they do spin round if you try to unluck them the wrong way,
its to prevent the lock being broken

put the key in the lock slightly and spray some wd40 in it
