Well, things have taken a sharp turn here in Blue406-ville

Following an assessment of my life as it is, I've come to the conclusion, I'm not happy with it. All this feeling old stuff is a symptom of it.

So.... I'm taking steps..

Being a Pads Brat, I've always had a link to the Army, it has never felt so strong as it does now. Consequently, I just sent in an application to sign for Queen and Country. I'll see what they say to my application and take a decision based on what I get back from them.

Ya'll might be seeing less of this curmudgeon ;)

Time to bring out me old emoticon ............Image

 Good on you Bluey, I hope things pan out as you hope for, but you must stay on here for as long as possible chap.

Secretly I wish I had done other things with my Career although feel somewhat stuck with it because it pays the bills and my skills are limited to one Industry, outside of which I would be pretty useless unless I re-train which has financial penalties to begin with (not too fair on the family).

Anyway it will be cool in the armed forces, you will get to play with big toys!!!
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work
