Turbo Help i think :(

Hi,

Just got the car back from the garage (where they changed the vacuum pump and hence got all my power back)

The problem is that when I took it for a test drive I noticed that when you accelerate in 4th from low revs (1000rpm), the car starts accelerating then around 1500rpm drops power (the needle on the rev counter drops) then a few seconds later the power is back ( and the rev needle jumps back) it does this again at 2300 and is fine up to 4000rpm

Any ides, garage say disconnect the vacuum tube to the EGR and try again?

Edit: - could it be the clutch, although it only does it in 4th (very strange)
