I think I need to move the smaller side of the CV boot close to the joint itself so it's got more room to expand?

Women drivers eh?
My mum was the same around cars, just drove them into the ground, when i had the clio it was looked after quite well, now it only looked at if i get told there is something wrong, such as the brakes not working, steam coming from the bonnet, or lights. And after driving it myself one day i diagnosed the wheel bearing was fecked.
My aunt drove my uncles voyager up the motorway in 2, the gear below Drive. The fact that the V6 was howling like mad, and the temperature gague was in the red were not even considered.
Having said that im sure that some women are very good mechanics, its just all the ones i know are not.

Stupidly I sold it and bought my first (and last) brand new car.........a Peugeot 106 1.4diesel "Key West" - a trifle ghey now in the cold light of day
carry on........
My 130 got rolling roaded at 148bhp. Had 144bhp on the first go, but a friend told me that you could "remap" it by changing the octane plug (a little plug that used to sit in the engine bay that you could turn around the other way to run on unleaded or 4 star) & gave me the ones he had. 3 or 4 runs later & we found an optimal octane plug which gave the magic 148.
