messages from beyond the grave

Post by TRAVIS BICKLE »

what are peoples opinions on this sort of thing? My mrs had a member of her family ring telling her they went to a medium. Who passed on a message from her uncle telling her everything would be okay. Now i am a sceptic about this kind of thing, but how did this medium know my mrs name, which is Lisa Marie so not really a name you could just guess at. My father died on new years eve and i think the only way id believe was if i got a message from him, something which only he and i would know. Then i might be convinced? Any thoughts?

It's hard to believe in something that is intangible but I've had a few experiences and in my opinion yes it is true.

we were talkin bout ghosts once and my mrs told me this little story :when my missus was a kid they all went on a family holiday to skeggy , bank holiday weekend. her grandparents went too. her grandparents lived next door to them, so all very close knit family. so while their away her grandad has a heart attack in front of them so the kids are ushered out the van etc etc he died there and then, ambulance comes takes him away . my mrs' older bro who was about 7 asks where are they takin grandad?? he will meet us back at home dont worry , what else can ya say
so they all get back home and her bro goes round the grandparents house witrh the grandma and goes runnin thru the house then runs back round to his house shouting " grandads back grandads back he's sat in his chair waitin for us" spooky
i was in bed once just nodding off when i heard a loud whispered voice right next to me ear say "KEVIN" scared the shite outta me as i had the house to meself, never seen a ghost or owt like that but i do believe they can exist

Never bought into all that myself. Once you're gone, you're gone & if I was going to pass a message on to anybody it would be "Get me out of this f**king hole you b**tards!"

Although the concept of ghosts is fantastic for scaring the girls at work when they're out in the warehouse at night...

Death is something we have to get used to :(
somepeople will look for something to cling onto & Some mediums are fake and will prey on somepeople eg,the weak those that carnt cope with loss,
theyl dig out clues so theyl give out details,

ibelieve in Ghosts tho ihave witnessed a few strange things!

sorry to hear of your loss mate,

We lost a child a short while ago from that experience ive learnt that its something we will never get over but it gets easier to live with day by day, :(

I was listning to a scientist who had a theory the other day, and to be honest it was very good. He said...
"Imagine life as a radio, you're tuned into one station and when you die you drift off to another close by frequency, yet every now and again you may drift off back onto another frequency". And that makes perfect sense, I doubt it's true and even if it was it could never been proven. I'd like to think when your gone, your gone but I'm sure theres something on the other side.

There's no scientific proof of the afterlife and I think it's only if you've had personal experience that it becomes real.

I think 99% of mediums etc. is just bullshit quackery preying on people when they are vulnerable. That leaves 1% of course...
