I turned the other day and water come in through the a pillar. I used some tigerseal were normal silicone was used before but why would the water decide to come in on a bend, can them draining pipes not deal with all the water and some sloshes overboard. How does it get in?
And is the corner of the windscreens supposed to look like this:

thats abadly fitted screen mate :(
get some window sealant in the corners,

have a clean cloth and some white spririt handy :wink:

who ever put that screen in didnt put the top seal on properly ..theres nothing you can do with it other than fill the gaps in the corners ,

the other cars screen is like this.
whats yours look like?

I dont think its the cause of the leak

all 406 screens are like that as they are bonded in, check to see if the drain pipe are not blocked.

the water flows down there nicely.
Is there meant to be the gap.

Theres no Gap on the corners of mine mate,
having the corner of the glass Exposed is a sighn the rubber is not on right or its been cut.
if there meant to have the corner like that it must be a peugeot desighn fault.

thats a week spot for sure id deffo get it coverd with silicone for protection,
if it was banged in the corner the screen will go :?

im sure on some 406's they had little corner caps that went over the gaps :wink: sorry forget that lol, your top window rubber is missing,it clips into the bit you can see going along the top of the screen
