Car pulls to left under braking - lazy calliper?

When braking from speed the car pulls off centre (as if it wants to rotate around its centre point).

Would this be a lazy calliper or would a brake service and a clean up/free up of the callipers cure it?

Yes I thought there would be some resistance in the way the caliper slides giving un unequal braking force.

Chances are its a seized/seizing guide pin, happened to my front drivers side earlier this year. Easy to remedy, just unbolt your caliper remove guide pins, clean them up and pack them with copper slip. If your really unlucky its a seized piston ( I had that too, previous owner had fitted Halfords pads and managed to take a huge chunk out of the piston gaiter) so ended up having to change the whole caliper and bleed the system.

Likely the calipers. A good strip, clean and lube should cure it. I clean my calipers reigiously with loadsa soapy water and a paint brush every week and (touch wood) have been ok so far. Thank good I got drums on the rear.

Check your tyre pressures are ok, as a low pressure tyre can also cause the same symptoms. Also, check for dead pedestrians wrapped round the driveshaft on that side, although the smell would give that one away!
