The fuel gauge is a bit unreliable, so I just run to 600 then fill up now.

Used to do 700 quite regularly, and my record is about 950.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

623 miles from my 8 valve turbo and 300 miles of that was with a complete engine in the boot
okay i was averaging 54MPH though :supafrisk:
98, Executive turbo estate in aluminum silver. The stealth wagon! Now departed, New project Xsara VTR-8 in progress, Next Project, 406 D8 / JAP. So will be looking for a 406 again when the xsara is done!

when i drive in the manner you expect a 19 year old to drive the car the worst was 520 miles. When i drive it a bit more sensibly i just cant completley restrain myself i got 704 miles.
But now ive removed that scourge on emissions the EGR so hopefully the next fill show the effect that has had, im expecting more miles.

Yes its true. Would have got more but there was a lot of stop start business on the m25. If i were to drive "normally" it will drink a tank of fuel in less than 300 miles though. Im a lorry driver so it wasnt too hard to sit behind trucks for 600 miles lol!
