Last time I looked, (which was a few years ago), it was about £60/70. Decided to wait & buy a newer, hopefully cheaper TomTom when I had a good enough reason.

my garmin needs an update £80 which isnt worth it as new units come with lane guidance for that sort of money.
On the topic of updates, with the factory fitted sat nav i sort of see that belfast doesnt come up on the city search, this is a 2000 disk, did any disks cover Northern Ireland?

Can't imagine the Pug sat nav to be less than perfect, but it is an 11 year-old disk.

When was Belfast built, exactly?

perhaps it doesnt actually exhist, but dublin the capital of ireland doesnt come up either. So its really a very useful sat nav for me if i want to get to birmingham but not somewhere like newry where i might actually go.
Is them free updates gary?

yes there all free off that forum.

but you have to download it . copy it to device.

then use an activating tool to activate the map on the device. it sounds easy but its not if its your 1st time.

i use a program called alberts easy activator. but forgot how to use it proper

My bro's sent me one of these things through the post for driving to the UK next month and I must admit I've not got a sodding idea what to do with it. I just connected it to my pc and looked at updating it but I'm a bit worried in case I turn it into a paperweight somehow. Burger that, I let him talk me through it on Skype.

You certainly don't get this sort of excitement with a fold up map

The final version of the Navteq mapping data for the Peugeot/Citroen monochrome sat-nav system was released in 2006. There is no newer data than that, and there never will be.

According to Navteq's website, there should be data for NI - at least on the 2006 CD - but at 119 EUR, I think they can keep their bloody disc.
