because thats just my opinion everyone as diferent tastes /styles,
just go with the flow mate if you like the window blinds then grab some,
if you decide to give the window tinting ago buy a roll and have a play at getting it on the Glass you took off the 406 breaker you had

youd only need a roll and half to do the rears and nice light limo tint looks perfect on blue cars

Lololol, its a peugeot mate the new rattles willl blend in with the old ones,

ive ordered them windscreen clips, hopefully that will cure that one.
Apart from it there was no rattles, my uncles golf on the other hand has a lot of rattles round the dash, and in the doors. This irritates me a bit.
Perhaps i have ocd.

im the same mate,
ive just had all the doorcards off new clips on them all,
ive even glued down the ashtray lid,
theres still an anoying creak on it im still wondering what it is ,

imust admit tho the peugeots are not as rattly as fords
ionce had a lovely mint mk5 escort iflung half the trim out of that hated it worst car ive ever owned,
im sure tho the door cards on these 406s are made out of some creaky shitey stuff ive had alook under the cloth part and it looks like that itchy stuff that comes out of old fridges when you smash them up,

Rattles in the 406 seem quite easy to diagnose. there was a dingy noie in the boot, turned out to be a firebell sitting in the boot. Coins of course make noise, the sunroof rattles if it freezes, the glovebox rattled but that turned out to be stuff sitting in it, and there was the rattle in the footwell caused by that circuit i added, but its fixed now.
Wheras in my uncles golf everything seems to rattle with a german solidity, ie very loudly, as very diestinct rattles.

No the rattles on mine are more of a creak,
its summat like the noise the old rusty spoons Ahem the nissan used to make,
creaky doorhinges the creak is anoying ive lifted the doors up to check for movement and nothing,

im sure its the door cards
also when the cars sat in the sun the dash board creaks but im not ripping that out

creaky door hinges, is this when they open had a bit of a squeak on the front doors its the cill seal, a bit of vaseline or something to soften rubber cures that, and on the back that metal bar that stops the door going too far, there is 2 bolts to either side, they can become loose, give them a tighten and the doors close quietly again.

Im unsure wether its the hinges or not
it creaks whether the doors are closed or not,
the last owner my mate was a big lad so it might be the door cards them selves warped or something
the 406 was just big enough for him to get in

I know a man quite heavy, but his mass has resulted in the seat in his xtrail having to be replaced twice because the frame got bent.

yer the passenger seat in this 406 got snapped too its been welded now
he even broke my garden bench bless him ,

well been driving round all day today. done about 100 miles .

my 2 year old baby daughter sits on the passangers side in the back. and shes been crying all day holding her hands in her eyes cos the sun has been blazing right at her.

so £60 or not i will be buying a set of those genuine rear blinds very soon (next 2-3 weeks)



much better than those square crap you buy from quid shop and fall off everytime suction looses on the suckers

i suppose for children they are a very handy bit of kit, but i dont use the back or have people in the back enough to really need them right now. But let me know how they fit.
On the topic of blinds the best ones ive ever seen is a blind inside a double glazed window, ie in the vacuum area, and theres a magnet handle that lets you open and close them. I thought this was a very nifty idea, definatley better than them rubbish blinds they put in houses these days.

strange you say that iwas in the quid shop today grabing some Microfibre cloths and inoticed they had sun blinds in not the ones with sucker things on these clip to the glass and velcro thingy sticks on the glass too they looked ok for a quid but im going for window film,

Or...
a nice pair of sunglasses, so you can look suave and drive in the sun.
The problem i have with sunglasses is i set them on the drivers seat then sit on them so i dont look suave any more.
