on the topic of air con my dads primera drivers window is bolloxed at the moment, showing the hidden laguna side i think. And naturally you hit the AC button but then it sounds like someones cutting down trees with a chainsaw.

My air con works.
1 point to Peugeot, -1 point to Nissan (who will probably blame renault)
its quite a loud noise just doesnt sound good, either a chainsaw or angle grinder

received the blinds today. took all of 2 minutes to fit both . they simply screw into the door card.
fit perfect and are nice and tight.
i expected them to fit more to the side on the angle bit but kids heads wont be that far back.

ye i expected to cover the whole window mysefl but on the other hand so far sun doesnt shine on kids faces because that small gap is more or less at the back of there heads. so if it shines through that is shines more on the back of the front seats.

defo an improvement and much better than those £1 sucker blinds from quid shops

Been thinking about how to deal with this in my coupé, and it's not so simple. First the rear side window's a tiny side-opening affair, and the rear screen is virtually impossible to reach unless you're Inspector Gadget. Think I might have to cough up for tints :/
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

tint them your self,
theres companys providing pre cut tints so theres no messing cutting them,
iwas going to have mine tinted by a company but im going to do it my self ive done it before its pretty easy its just a matter of taking your time and having paitience doing them 8)
