an 04 with the back end of a D8.
Also £2500 for something with that mileage is a bit optimistic.

Rear ended and shoddy repair by the looks of it.
Re: Notice something strange??
...and someone has had the alloys of it as well by the looks of it as they look like wheel trims to me

You'd of thought if they were doing so, they'd of fitted a GLX or higher spec rear bumper to have chrome trim in it, so it "matches"(using that term loosely) a bit better

Wheel trims look like they're off a Peugeot Partner van?

If you look at the side view, you can see the doors are almost KMWC Piana / Monaco Blue, but the rear 3/4 is a darker, almost China Blue.
they could've found a D9 rear end no doubt someone who doesn't notice will pay the £2500 for it, that's the scary thing

Re: Notice something strange??
£2500 for that youd have to be mad. When i bought my car for that i thought it was a bit expensive, but didnt mind because it was the lowest mileage exec around, the next closest was 140k for £2300

Re: Notice something strange??
Ya I'm not back, I just thought I'd share that mongoloid of a car with you.
I gave up the coupe in September and havent been driving since. Bought one of these to get me too and from work. I have no immediate use of a car except when I train home to limerick some weekends. I can use my dads car when at home then.
Want to get an opinion on a 406 from someone who used to be crazy about them???
I dont miss it at all and if at all possible and lifestyle permits, I'd suggest getting rid of the car!
Hope you are all well doggy, welly etc.

I also got rid of my 406 (though did buy another car).
Being Carless would be ideal in a city with good public transport like Dublin, but it is suboptimal from my point of view. My current commute is a 3.5 mile 20 minute drive. To get the bus to my work would be a 20 minute bus journey to the city centre, 20 minutes wait, then another 20 minute bus journey.
Did think about maybe getting a bike and cycling into work, because the Honda is a 20mpg beast, but I'm not sure where I'm going to be living after May, might not be near a cycle path and the local drivers are maniacs who would gladly run you off your bike.

Re: Notice something strange??
I managed without a car a year, I did my shopping in the company van (which they wouldn't have liked) so I didn't really need a car at the time. I did an awful lot of cycling too. I suppose if you can borrow your mum's car when absolutely necessary then it's a big expense spared. I'd be completely stuffed here of course.

Re: Notice something strange??
I was carless for a couple of years during uni. It was a small town and everything was within walking distance. Also, it was a very safe town to walk about.steve_earwig wrote:I managed without a car a year, I did my shopping in the company van (which they wouldn't have liked) so I didn't really need a car at the time. Day to day though a car is a must have. I do think that if I worked in the city centre I would bus it, and leave the car for weekend trips / the shopping. But the problem with public transport in Belfast is that it seems to work ok for radial routes, but trying to get from one radial to another involves going to the centre then going back out again.
