Was hoping a better airflow might use slightly less fuel. Probably well overdue a service too, I'll get stuck into that in the next few weeks.

50k service period for the filter, reoil and clean.

Anyone used one? Any use? Or just snakeoil?

but did you clean it first with kn cleaner?
if you keep your standard filter clean you will be hard pressed to see any improvements on a standard set up.

£3.80 vs £38 kn filter.

Not really interested in BHP tbh. The character of the car is more a laid back cruiser than a sports car.

Was hoping to increase mpg a little. I'll give her a good service including fuel filter and plugs and see how i get on.

I wonder how much the shipping is to AU - as I need to shell out for some suspension bits and pieces! I've already stocked up on filters...should be good for a while!

The exchange rate is just too good at the moment for us!

standard air filter for mine - £4.92
standard fuel filter - £3.84
standard oil filter - £4.20

i can get all 3 PLUS a pollen filter at £13.09 for a fraction over the price it costs you just for air filter

£26.05 for all 4 main filters

dont i just love servicing my 1.9 XUD  why do you think i do it every 6 months. at that price i may as well

Used to do my XUD every 6 months. The other XUDT I only kept for a few months so didn't get a routine.

Oil and filters. Fuel filter change but was a pain to get restarted afterwards, even with the bulb primed!

£23 vs that £38 K+N filter which needs reoiled every 50k miles. Might just do that.

ye that sounds like its worth it. the 1st oil in 50k miles will make your money back against standard filters.

i think i would do it before 50k tho. that seems like a long time .

i would probably wash and oil it every 6 months .

Good call Gary. A bit like servicing and timing belt intervals - usually overly optimistic!
Though I'd have to see how much the cleaning and oiling solution cost if I was to do it twice a year.

I still have that bootlip spoiler that I never ended up fitting.
Not sure if it is worth primering and spraying Honda maroon and seeing if it suits the Accord Coupe. It's not quite as elegant from the rear as the 406 coupe. Huge boot makes it look like a C+C.

Mine is in the cupboard. Was going to get a spray that matched before painting it, but that never happened because KMWC is the most awkward bloody paint code

Was meant to look M3-ish

My dad has one on his 7 series, the square late 90s shape one. It seems to suit it.
