Mine blew the HG
and when i got it, it had been sitting for a number of weeks with a smashed window, it was stinking, there was also bullets inside it, a few packets of condoms and a lot of cigarette ash. definatley not the ideal previous owner, who was actually dead as this was sold on behalf of a bereaved family.
Why is the bulkhead unpainted, i think there should be some insulation there:

Your car is much nicer, its the facelift model with the darker dash and the red fiat logos.

The roof rails make it look like a mini-4x4 without the pretentions of something like a Nissan Qashcow.

I like interesting cars but I do appreciate "basic" cars.
The likes of the Panda, Citroen ZX, Skoda Felicia.
When I was in Spain I got a look at a Dacia Logan in a shopping centre and did like it.

Didn't even notice they'd changed the logo colour. True enough in the adverts the new logo is red and has an Art Deco font.
They'd used that /F/I/A/T/ logo and /// in the grille for years, and in the space of the last 8 or so have changed the logo twice.

Bailes - I see a Fiat Doblo in the bakcground, are your neighbours Fiat fans too, or is there a dealer round the corner?

I always liked the //// logo, but the blue one is nice, fiat used it back in the 70s. The red one is ok if you like red more than blue.

But they are everywhere in Europe - is there much price difference between a Panda and a 500?

the 500 is the overpriced one, its only 3 doors and the panda is 5.
I think a new base panda is £7,600, the top of the range is £9,600 but they dont seem to make the eleganza or 100hp models anymore.
The base 500 is £10k and goes up to £30k for the ferrari version.

They're marketed differently, the Panda is a no-frills small car of the type that Fiat is famous for.

The 500 is more of a "lifestyle" trendy car in the vein of the BMW "MINI" although somewhat less pretentious.

One thing i noticed about the panda, there isnt many about, for a small cheap economical city car i am astonished by the lack of them that have sold.

The 500 is an extra £3000 just for the basic model.
Ideally my Mum wanted a 500 but my Mum bumps into everything.
So rather than spend £10k+ on a 500 the Panda will do the trick and if she bumps it then so be it.

I hated the black bumpers, they looked shite. But they were easy to get parking sensors for, matte black and that was it.

I keep wanting to get a 100hp.

that 600bhp figure from the pink one sounds a bit of bullshit especially if its an xud diesel, scanias dont even have that.

Ah yeah - in italy, the Pandas are everywhere! Probably the most popular car on the roads over there!

You can only buy the 500 here in Australia (no Pandas)...it's not the biggest seller, due to the high asking price!

I quite like the look of the Civic, and I'm not just saying that cause I'm some sort of Honda fanboy now. Always did, they're distinctive, the type of thing Citroen should be making. The front grille in particular is SM-like.

The Citroen C4 coupe too, very distinctive. Although they're to replace it with a much fussier design in the DS4.

Other than that I'm not sure if there is any car in the mid-size hatchback segment that floats my boat.

The honda civic has the interior sorted, the exterior is ok when they put on a normal grille instead of the lights across because then it looks like a ride on lawnmower.

Its hard to say what citroen will do with the ds4 the new c4 though looks good. The new golf looks terrible.
