Expansion Valve

Greetings.

I'm in the process of fitting a new compressor to my air con system and have to change the expansion valve as well. I know its near the heater matrix somewhere but does anyone know how i get to it?

Just hoping for an idea to save me taking the wrong bits of the car to bits.

Don't think it's in that post.....

Couldn't find anything sounding similar on ServiceBox - if it's the same as 'Evaporator pressure reliif valve', that's no.2 above.

(Aka 'ERP EXP VALVE').

Thanks for the info guys, that diagram will be most helpfull. Just got to work out which side of the bulkhead this valve sits on, I think it looks like its around the area of the blower motor or behind the glove box. I'll wait till the new parts come, so that I can see what i'm looking for.

Found it! It's where the high pressure and low pressure pipes go through the bulkhead, passenger side quite high up. Easy to get to. Thanks for the help guys.
