the spring im guessing clips to the light and then to the bumper pulling it into place fully.

even without the spring the fog is ok. just sinks back insode bumper if you touch it.

finally done both fogs.

to be honest its a bumper off job .

it will make life a lot easier putting the top spring in place.

i did it forcing my hand up holding spring tight then sumhow managed to slide fog into position and hook spring onto fog

it isnt easy and its impossible try get pictures of me doing it. camera just wont go up inside

I was fearing it was a bumper off job to be honest mate, as I had hell on replacing a front fog in my D9, In the end I disconnected the bumper at one end and pulled it forward

I'l kill 2 birds with one stone when I come to do my fogs, I'l get that laguna splitter that ive had forever on at the same time, as it will be much easier with the bumper upside down :)

it is possible mate. i have large hands and managed (just) to do it. you have to hook the spring to the bumper and pull it tight with 1 hand ,
why your pulling it tight so it doesnt hook off . slide the fog into position with the other hand .
and hook the spring onto the fog. theres only 1 tiny place it can hook to the fog.

but i agree if you have a splitter take it off . because them laguna splitters are a pain trying to get the corners right. thats why i took mine off .

i've ordered a coupe splitter from the guy on the coupe forum. so will post pics wen done.

strut brace £25 delivered. i got mine from this seller. if you do buy from this seller ask him for the 6 longer bolts
he will supply at no charge

make sure you have a lump hammer. you need one to bend it down once fitted so bonnet wont catch,

altho others have fitted theirs and not needed to but mine made bonnet sit high.

lump hammer wont damage it.

Oki

i have my front fogs fitted.
I have put in the extra relay
and I have found and attached the switch (the non-stalk variety)

However, when i turn on the lights i do the following
I switch on the Manin lights (dipped)
I swtch on the rear fogs. They are on and the indicator on the dash is illluminated.
I switch on the front fogs. The front fogs remain off and there is no indication on the dash.
But the real confusing part is this.
On switching on the front fogs, the rear fogs are switched off!!!

What would be causing that!?

Regards

did you leave both relays in position ?

also there are 2 fuses in the battery fuse box that are needed. check that you have put these in position ..

yes both relays are in position as per photograph (I only have space for the 2)
Both fuses are there
The fogs have bulbs and are connected

I am stumped!

possibly OR you need the indictor stalk control and not the switch under steering wheel.
