Bleeding a 1.9 TD

Post by Gary406 »

a guy emailed me a few weeks back but not got the email anymore

can someone please explain the correct way to bleed the coolant system on a 1.9 TD ?

the way i do it is. remove coolant tank cap. start engine. and unscrew the 2 nipples , coolant comes out these 2 nipples instantly.

then i firmly press the big pipe that goes into the top of the rad. a few times. coolant tank cap back on job done ?

is this correct or wrong ?
