removed the sensor on the top of the fuel pump, iv got a diagram of the pump, but no senser removed,
i think its the pump shut off

theres a little thin needle sticking from the sensor, its bent over, is that normal or need to be straight

Good luck with your theft^H^H^H^H^Hliberation :cheesy:

Seriously though, hope you get your motor running. An HDi in full working order should command a decent resale price these days.

i just sold it, we going to its new owner on sat lol

lets start from the top

about 3 months ago, i topped the water up in the header tank, bit too much, anti pollution fault, limp home mode, drained some water, 2 days later it fixed its self

today, fuel light on, going to work, got 4 miles into my trip, eml comes on, anti pollution, car stalls, i turn it off, starts but eml still on, full power, gets 500yards down the road, cuts out again, so i checked the header tank, no water, opps  , topped that up, bleed it all ok, eml still on, full power got 300 yards down the road, splat dead again, turn off, turns back on, cuts out down the road 300 yards,
managed to stall into a car park  , got my mate to come along with hi reader, P0230 fuel pressure or something, clear it, eml off, full power, rag it around the car park for a bit, bing eml on, but tick over, went to pull away, stalled, after several hours of messing about, desided to take it home, 12miles 1 hour, cutting out and stalling every 300 yards,

they only sensor that wont throw up a code, unpluged it the AFM and the sensor ontop of the pump, these can be un plugged with no codes,

im hoping its just the low pressure fuel pump, or some shitty fuel i put in my jerry can, for emergancy use that i used
there are some very fine and i mean very fine bits of silver in the filter, but the pump in pumping, it will start everytime, just keeps cutting out

reason = factors only sold the complet unit with housing.

dealers sold pump on its own (so we can put lift pump in old housing)

factors price of £400plus was only that price if we traded in the lift pump housing in as well

150miles just done, did not miss a beat, seemed to be faster and smoother,

£105 was the complete pump, with sender and all the crappy bits of plastic, from GSF parts, it was £90 for just the pump on its own, bosch parts too

but what a bloody nightmare to get the pump out, it dont fit out the bloody hole, pug made,

paid
£950 for the car,
£575 for a new cluch,
£105 for the pump,

just sold it for £950  thats if he takes it as some plum desided to nock the passenger mirror off tonight, glad to let it go at a mega loss
