Everything the SE has over your Exec is purely down to yours being an older model. Look at a 2003-2004 Exec & you'll find that has everything the SE has & then some.
2000/X Peugeot 406 110 HDi LX Family 93k to 2000/W BMW 530D SE Auto 84k to 2003/03 Peugeot Partner Hdi Escapade 98k to 2003/53 Vauxhall Zafira DTi Elegance 74k

Exec was still top of the range

I was looking the other day, and in 2003, an Exec was about 19k, whereas the SE was only about 17k

I think the SE was probably a marketing tool to attract the younger owner
Bit like with Ford with the Ghia X and the Titanium X

Personally I find the SE more desireable than the Executive

I noticed the SE I looked at the other day didn't have headlight washers

Can you elaborate on what you actually did

I appreciate yours is most likely a D9 and mine is a D8, so the MFD will be different, but still interested in the wiring you did etc
I just needed to replace the wiper stalk that doesn't had a working trip computer with one that have, and then i went into my garage and plugged in the peugeot planet and program the BSI , it worked perfect . I needed to replace the " AIR BAG " bulb from the dashboard, it made me pay 5 EURO for the bulb part the Peugeot planet was a no cost Extra ehheheeh , but i gave him another 5 Euro so he can have a coffee :)

I saw something about mirrors and seats with memory and something about the headlight washers somewhere but i think this menu was not configurable .. i didn't entered it anyway ..

Anyway, there is somewhere here in the forum topics about adding trip computer on D8 models ...it will require some wiring to do ...
