Re: This guy needs some new brakes

US needs an MOT.
That looks like it may have been sat up for a few years and someone is trying to get it roadworthy?

Can't see the problem myself, looking at the state of that there is probably a hole in the drivers footwell to put your feet through to slow you down

Just like those drilled discs, but a bit more extreme. Less is more.

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Re: This guy needs some new brakes
Judging by the halo-like way the outer rims of the discs have stayed in place, perhaps it's blessed.

ha ha,
notice the cut and the grinding marks on the hub
someones done it for a laugh,
also if you look through to the other side you will notice the other disc is in good nick
surely if one side wouid of rusted away the other en wouid have too,
theres alot of metal on a disk to rust away it wouid take years for one to rust through surely

Re: This guy needs some new brakes
i have reversing sensors and a towbar, i like the towbar because at my dads house there is some rubbish drivers who cant park at all and if i tuck my car in behind the man who owns the new volvo (a careful driver) then i know the front of the car is safe, the back of the car is safe because of the towbar. i went out to it one day and found the neighbours zafira implanted into my towbar, it left a crack on his bumper but nothing on my car.
Re: This guy needs some new brakes
ive never had reverse sensors so iwouidnt know what there like tbh,
theres a kit available in Maplins so imight just grab one,
ive found some plugs in the back of the car so im wondering if there for factory fitted Reverse - sensors iwill have to look into that too,
carnt find any Propper d9 diagrams so that dont help,

I got one of the sets off ebay have used them 3 times in the past and they are great.
I even did a guide on fitting reversing sensors a while back.
