Spray Painting
The painting is the easy part once you get the hang of it. But how do you keep off the dust?
Re: Spray Painting
all depends where your spraying mate,
if its a dusty area eg garage with stone floor piss the floor through before getting out the spray gun /rattle can.

A paint hall with an extractor fan to be fair farmerpug.
Painting is easy but I could never get a colour match for mine. Did my head in.
Does your colour match? How you getting on?
I have some Peugeot lacquer if you need it.

Re: Spray Painting
im not doing the car door, just them silver bits for the dash.
I did the cd player when i got it, but just put the cassette away unpainted, so today i had a go at it, in the moving shed process it did get a few chips and cracks, but i did a bit of filling with superglue, and it really does work as a plastic filler, ive painted over the thing with grey primer and the part looks like new.
Its just the silver paint (rover storm grey metallic) is very sensitive to dust, and i dont want any imperfections on these parts because they are always visible.
The new shed has no extractor fan, so i sprayed the parts while holding the hoover in my other hand, although its not very ergonomic.

Re: Spray Painting
Make your own little spray booth mate,
some Gazebo frame and polythene does the job to make a dust free spray booth,
always mask up tho, ! paints not good for your lungs
