I have Linux on it which flies and XP which isn't too bad.

Wee Mac Mini G4 with OSX still a decent machine.

Last time I tried on my AA1, it worked well up to the point I closed the lid, at which point it went into standby, which is nice.

What wasn't so nice is that the graphics chip in the AA1 wouldn't fire back up coming out of standby, leaving it with a blank screen...

Also had to change the internal wireless NIC for osx support
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Well I went to maplins and spent some of my grand national winnings on an external DVD drive.

Got iDeneb installed but the keyboard and mouse don't work. Plugging in an external USB keyboard and mouse the key 7 keeps getting pressed.

Wireless card wasn't recognised. I have a dell laptop in bits which may have a compatible wireless card. Might have to investigate.

Not looking forward to taking it apart again. The insert key wont go back on the keyboard after the last time

Is there a driver for linpus and XP for the dell wireless card?
