WANTED asap, towbar slotted nuts
Just got my towbar delivered but i think because my car hasnt ever had a towbar the holes are in the body for the slotted nuts but none there thus i need some asap, if anyone has them or knows where i can get them asap??? I'll try servicebox now!

Sorted now! Drilled holes to get 17mm nuts in rail then bodysealed and grometted holes back up! Perfecto!

Any chance of putting pics up, or a description of what you did? I have the same issue with a friends car.

No pics as its all fitted now and under car but basically the towbar i had offered up to existing holes, the 2 front "taped" over holes were no worries, un-taped and bolted that bit straight on, the 2 on each side where i had the problem lined up fine but obv couldnt get a nut in the boxed chasis rail so i drilled holes in the bottom of box in line with bolt holes on side, i then made drilled holes larger with a cone cutter drill bit so i could get a 17mm nut in it, i then slid nut up whilst poking bolt through towbar bracket and chasis then with bit of fiddling managed to get nut started on bolt, repeat 4 times then all i did was to put rubber gromet/plugs in holes i drilled plus some underseal and job done!
