Re: Indicators
opps sorry about that
the indicator relay, try changing that, as thats what on pre com2000 cars generates the noise.

Re: Indicators
cheers - I assume (from previous experience of Vauxhall-Opel and VAG cars) that it'll be a couple of quid and easy to do?
edit - not so much a couple of quid. I'll ring the local scrappies.

its normal mate, dissolved wrote:simple question - on a 2000 D9 LX should there be a clicking when the indicators are going? only thing that bugs me about the car!
my 1999 hdi does it,
ive got used to it now was abit anoying at 1st,

Re: Indicators
as i said it's the lack of the click which is annoying if you can believe that - never had a car that doesn't have it, i was starting to wonder if it was an intentional feature and that's why everyone in France has their indicators on all the time on the autoroute!lozz wrote:its normal mate, dissolved wrote:simple question - on a 2000 D9 LX should there be a clicking when the indicators are going? only thing that bugs me about the car!

I agree, for me would be a little confusing if there was no clicking sound of the indicator ..well at least with the radio OFF.dissolved wrote:as i said it's the lack of the click which is annoying if you can believe that - never had a car that doesn't have it, i was starting to wonder if it was an intentional feature and that's why everyone in France has their indicators on all the time on the autoroute!lozz wrote:its normal mate, dissolved wrote:simple question - on a 2000 D9 LX should there be a clicking when the indicators are going? only thing that bugs me about the car!
