I think the dunk has preserved that old van. My uncle has an old vw camper and it sat outside for a month and the back is very badly rusted.
The back of that doesnt look as bad.
It would be nice to think the engine will still work.

They might sound like an old lawn mower to you but they have some practical purpose and they are a respected vehicle,
i wouid love to own one but even a rusty old one needing lots of restoration is out of my league.

My friend as got a camper van he paid £19 k for it its a 1973 model,
the wheels on it are worth £3k alone,

ah without a doubt, they are a very respected viechle, my uncle drove his across the world back in the 70s hes got a full picture album of where it was.
It sounds like a lawnmower yes but not the shitty lawnmowers we have these days, a proper old nice lawnmower engine sound.
I do like the old t2, about the only vw i like. i like the boxy t3

they brought them back about 3years ago ive only ever seen 1 on the road tho,

I always fancied a Syncro. A couple of them came out laning with us a few times, very impressive, goes anywhere and when you get to the top of the mountain you can nip in the back and make a proper cup of tea . My flask hangs it's head in shame!

Could tick several boxes at once that, the 4x4 box, the vw camper box, the ability to carry lots of people / stuff box.....
