JUST GOT MY TAX REMINDER---YEEE HAAA!!!!!

Post by miniman »

:cheesy:
Am I delighted or what!?
I just got my tax reminder through, and its only 110 quid for the year!
How is this done? Is there a benchmark test they have done to determine how much emissions that the 406 passes through its guts?
Im worried for the next tax day, cos if its MOT based, im buggered. I removed the cat from my 406.
Somebody out there will have an idea surely?

You lucky devil's...........

That 'special fluid' your on about, thats an additive as used in the 2.2's isn't it? it helps burn off deposits in the particulate filter. I've not heard of any special filtering on 2.0HDi's ????????

Oh and miniman, I hope they catch up with you and your 'heath robinson' decateriser and make an example of you......

Headline in local Scottish Newspaper:

....Record Back-Tax penalty for Local man who removed Catalyst...

You won't be saying YEE HAA then will you, no you won't,

What de-cat?? Not a clue wot yer on about laddie!!!
Sounds great here though. I like this filter/fluid idea. It still aint as cheap as my mini though. A whole years tax for it costs NOWT. You cant get a better feeling that obtaining a tax disk for free! :cheesy: Its 1971, and as such is tax exempt for those that were wondering how I pulled that one off.

How old does a car have to be to be tax exempt? 15 -20 years?

The tax exemption cutoff date is 1973. It used to be a 25 year old rolling age, but dear old twat Gordon Brown changed it in 1998 to a fixed date, hence the 1973 date. What a nice chap!

Me too, although we also don't have to pay £300+ to have the fluid replaced when it runs out either 8)
