excellent idea that ithink iwill add that one to the list,
iwill be covering a few things with the stuff ashtray etc,
iwill have a play at covering the mfd and climate control too just hoping this stuff doesent peel off tho
call me old fashion, but i do like my fake wood on my 406, i even bought the fake wood ashtray console .. beautiful, shame my version doesn't have the wood on the door cards , i think wood on some middle - high models like the 406 and 607 etc, make them a " luxury " car ... In fact they are , my precious

tbh the wood looks ok...........Not
but now ive had the car a while its getting boring!
ikeep looking at it and thinking of how much it reminds me of a victorian sideboard,
if it was real wood it be ok but its just to fake if you look at it properly theyve tried to add to much knotts that wouid of been a Barstard to cut if it was real wood,
Wood is for rovers anywayz wtf is it doing in peugeots
Hi,i was thinking the same thing,to cover that fake wood.
my 1st choice wasnt the carbon look but some greyish color, something like light dust grey aluminum color, well, here is an link so u can see
on chevrolet epica what i meen
My old 5 Series had something similar on it. Wasn't brushed aluminium, but was just a shiny grey, but complimented the grey interior well:
2000/X Peugeot 406 110 HDi LX Family 93k to 2000/W BMW 530D SE Auto 84k to 2003/03 Peugeot Partner Hdi Escapade 98k to 2003/53 Vauxhall Zafira DTi Elegance 74k
Grey looks cheap-ish, though and you'll never get a good enough finish to be happy with, at least IMHO. What the lozzinator has in mind with the carbon film will look quite tidy, especially coupled to a black interior. Would love to see the results, lozz!

i remember looking for some brushed aloominuum stuff like the bmw for doing the black bits of the dash.
But i painted the black part silver, i think the wood and the silver bits work really well with eachother, the wood looks nice i think it makes the car a bit posh. But your right about the knots, jeez, youd need to have bought a new saw every minuite if you actually were cutting it.
the wood look in mine is not the same as some ive seen in others,
its as good as that Fab lon stuff you stick over delapidated kitchen units it just doesnt look right,
icouid of just sprayed over it but iwant that carbon effect,
oh fablon, sounds bad, mine is definatley realistic enough looking especially for plastic.
have any of these expensive new german cars acutually got real aluminium on their dashboards?
