Should we start a, "Most attempts to shift it", competition?

Oh, and looky here. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-2-2-HDI-U ... 43a67d8a80
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)

the turbo requires reconditioning.
but its found on the 607, a car where every diesel version is already equipped with a turbo, which if it goes will also require reconditioning.
So the only advantage of this is say you park your car at the shop, go in and while shopping the thief gets the bonnet open, all the engine cover sh*t out of the way, gets out the socket set, and tools, then gets the turbo out, without you knowing.
is this turbo snatching a start of a new trend, good turbos are sold and you have to buy bad ones and recondition them. :cheesy:

ithink the seller as got a few ebay accounts,
Maybe been throwing a few Ghost bids in that Back-fired.
ithink the More this goes on the Harda the car will become to shift,

ipersonaly wouidnt touch the car unless it was cheap enough to break if the turbo as blown id say its been thrashed

New?
most probs not much change out off £600
then there might be the aftermath of oil in the intercooler and bits of turbo vanes to clear out,
you can pick a turbo up for a 1 Ner a used one,
Nice car but ithink spending £600 on it and what the seller wants for it wouid make it not far off its book value,
ithink hes holding out to get most of his money back for it hence his reserve,
if he just wanted it gone there wouid be no reserve and it wouid sell for what its worth,
