Re: Headlights
Maybe if they fitted a 2.2 HDi to the XF they could call it 408 and be done

Prettiest but the jag looks nicer and hasn't got something as bad as I drive

Re: Headlights
Had a full blown row with a BMW driver.
Basically, here - http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source= ... 3&t=h&z=19
I was heading from the left to go onto Boucher Road, he was heading from the right onto the same road. As you see on the satellite image, both routes have a lane each.
He came round and I was on the inside in my lane, he wanted in the lane to take the next left, starts beeping his horn and all.
Follows me in to the car park of the shops, and we have an argument. He says his light was green, but I argue back so was mine as both lanes have the same priority. No doubt thought he was the only one on a green cycle and that his turning opened up to the 2 lanes. Tells me to read highway code, I tell him to pay attention to the road markings for a change you typical BMW driver

Re: Headlights
I guess because BMWs are set up to be "sporty", the drivers get all aggressive and agitated. Even small details, like the wheel is set up so you clench it, and this causes you to sit slightly forward in an aggressive pose.
Whereas Jags are for wafting about, smoke a cigar, and effortlessly reach your destination.

Re: Headlights
I agree
I'd therefore want the jag just to waft about with the cigar and you can always tell the ladies you drive a jaaag

might be better off with a Roll up than a cigar if you become a jag owner you wouid need to smoke roll ups as the petrol they drink wouid drain any chance of luxuries

Re: Headlights
ah now you woldnt need to smoke the cigar, just have it in your mouth for the look of the thing.
I sat in a jag xj6 the owner was a smoker and the car was indeed quite stinking from the cigarettes, the ashtray was full.
But despite that i really do like that car, your sitting low down in this nice cocoon of an environment, its nice and cosy or something, and then the noise them things are very nice and this wasnt event the v8 just a flat 6.

Im a smoker but inever smoke in a car,
iglue down the Ashtrays so no one can use them!..cig smoke is a killer on car interiors,
this one ive got now had a Smokey headlighning its took me months to get it clean and buying differnt stuff that didnt work,
Daz soap powder got it clean in the end strangely,
ihate the smell of smoke in a car and ash on the mats and dash is not for me icarnt see why they smoke in cars tbh,
just park up get out and spark one up is easy enough ithink,
