well in about 10 days or so i should be able to give you as many pics as you want, its a Citroen C5 and i have to say it is one of the most handsome looking citroens in a long time in my opinion. its the new Germanic looking one, the engine is sweeeeeeeet, currently set at 173 bhp factory set but in a few years when its out of warranty i can feel a remap coming on.

Havent got a clue Lozz, but if its set at 173 from the factory then there must be a few more horses to be played with in there, it pulls like a train, max torque is at 1,500 rpm so its lovely from next to nothing all the way to 4,300 rpm ish after that seems a little flat but then that could just be my inexperience with the 6 speed box, im sure as time goes on i will master the bugger.

& the rest. If the old 2.2 can get to 180bhp from 136bhp, I'd say you could probably break the 200bhp barrier with the new one. 173 with no turbo lag should keep you happy for a good while though.

Zero lag at any engine speed, i suppose thats the reasoning behind the twin turbo set up, i test drove one of the standard 140 bhp 2 litre hdi C5s and it was ok a damn site better than the 90 i used to have, but it is a heavier car so it didnt exactly feel quick, powerful, yes, quick no but this one is bloody lovely the 2.2 lump mated with the twin turbos seems a very sensible idea to me, it delivers power all the way through the revs, 3rd and 4th are especially nice from low revs it just keeps going and going and going :cheesy:

Its just the waiting game now, i am back in the uk from thursday for a week and once i get back i just need to sign a couple of documents from the dealers and i can pick it up, obviously after parting with a large lump of cash :( so Im hoping by about the 9th or so it should be mine.

after that there will be the obligatory period of excitement and playing with all the new toys etc etc.

They seem to claim 135-140, but real world figures are probably 125-130. Still a worthwhile power hike.

Spheres or Springs?

The Hydro 4 setup allows for comfort or sport (flat cornering  ), depending on your mood.
