Instrument Panel - Speedo and odometer

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Instrument Panel - Speedo and odometer

Post by fuvureju »

I have just sourced a 5 dial intrument cluster to replace my 4 dial (1.9dt LX)

however, the speedo needle is sprung to indictae 140mph
Also how does one get the odometer to reflect the true mileage.

I had a look and I cannot swithc over the odometers between the 2 dash as mine is Jaeger and the other is Sagem and the odometers do not connect the same

any ideas?

You wouid need the plugs out of the car the speedo came out of,
and also a wiring diagram for yours and the car the clocks originated from.
you wouid have to work out how to swap the plugs over,

Might be best sourcing a set that will go straight in yours that are plug & play,
