Tesco Diesel,

does anyone use tesco Diesel, ?
if so have you noticed any differnce latley, engine abit noisier perhaps or not as many mpg,
or is it just me?

ive swapped back over to Texaco derv and all is well again, Engine as gone much Quieter,
as Tescos been Pissin in the Tanks Perhaps

ah its not only me then,
theres alot of other forums with people noticing bad problems with tesco derv,
oh and Mention of it containing 12% Bio.

Phuck it iwont be using that shite again iwill pay the Few pence more and buy None supermarket propperstuff iwont get anymore of that Tesco thined down pissy stuff,

im going to a texaco at the moment my friend is complaining of lower mpg and a bit less grunt.
to be honest my mpg figures are not exactly class leading at the moment.

Ah maybe summats hapenin with the fuel before it comes over here,
its all from the Middle -East so ibelieve,
My Car deffo didnt like the Tesco fuel tho,

seems to be ok on the Texaco stuff, all the Taxi drivers are using Sainsburys in my area for fuel with no complaints so imight just try that next,

The other week idrained the Fuel filter housing into a plastic clean clear empty pop bottle and it did resemble Urine the colour of it, car ran alot better after idrained it too,

i need to do the filter change soon, really the full monty service, could be 8k since the last service.

ithink mine went about 60thou before oil and filter change maybe more

iwouidnt worry to much if its only been 8k since last service,

I have not used tesco derv in a long time it is fooking shite , car didn't
like it and smoked like a tractor , it is also one of the dearest in my area .
Think none tesco shoppers pay for those who spend £50 and get 5p a litre off.
I have used asda derv and that has been ok and cheaper but mostly pay the
extra and use shell .

I run my Pug of nothing but Veg oil and Tesco diesel.
Never had a problem, and when I switched to any other diesel I never noticed any other issues either?

Saying that I run my Focus on tesco fuel too?

texaco stations are robbing phuckers. never used one and never will. as goes for the shell stations around my area. they all look run down charge 5p per litre more than every1 else. oh and the BP one does the same as well. put £20 in and fuel gauge doesnt move.

morrisons i use. its on my estate and closest. never have any problems with it. and i get miles points. get 5000 points and get a £5 voucher for in store

Tesco clubcard

1p per £2 spent on fuel.
1p Per £1 spent in store

Get vouchers every 3 months withthe money I have collected and it's usually £4-£5.
Plus my Dad gives me his so I get about £20 every 3 months in vouchers

You tend to notice a bit more filling up a lorry the colour of it
Always seems to have a yellow tinge to it

The problem with the diesel here is that there is a lot of places doing washed diesel (red diesel converted to clear illegally) that stuff just wrecks everything especially fuel pumps. So you need to stay at the big companies like bp and shell to make sure it's good diesel

I've always used Tesco diesel & never noticed any problems. Might try a couple of tanks from Shell though & see if the mpg improves.
