sun blinds in a d9 estate

Post by no2lurch »

as i have a 6 month old and with the sun being so strong lately, i am thinking about getting some shade blinds for the back of my d9 estate.

can i get 406 specific ones? or do i just get some universal jobbies?

Here's the official Estate-specific ones (Peugeot part number 9659.AA), brand new, from Yeoman's Peugeot Shop:

You might be able to find them on eBay, but that's not a bad price for an official Peugeot part that is brand-new.

film tint is the best option, i gess, i'm doing to mine too shortly this month, the only problem here in PT is that to put the car in " order " to the eyes of the law i have to spend +/- 250 EUR in an extraordinary inspection and put this registry on the booklet of the car ( the document that shows the specifications of the vehicle and proprietary and sh*t )

lurch. i have these in my saloon. (im not sure if saloon & estates rear doors are the same)
but the part number on my blinds were those matchin saloon on yeomans online peugeot shop.
i paid £25.99 from ebay for mine they was brand new in box

fitment is 100% perfect. the little gap you can see on the angle side is also fine. if the sun shines through that its no were near kids heads anyway .
their heads are more forward than that. so the angle the sun comes in there just shines to the back window if you get me

yes they screw into the top of the door card. if you look either side you can just see the 2 screws.

these were supplied with the blinds 8)

only 2 tiny ones yes. but the blinds are a permanent thing like say ,, the seats ? so you wouldnt remove them you would leave them there even if you didnt use them much.

i dont use mine much TBH , i dont leave them up as well (heard that fucks them up)

so i only use them when the sun is blazing my kids eyes. which isnt much in the UK with the sh*t weather we have
