Re: rear seatbelt anchor
Oooh, sounds like a cage nut that's not actually in a cage any more
Someone had something recently but I can't find it with a search. You need to get to the other side of it, you might have to drop the tank depending where it is, or even open up a box section to weld a new nut in there.

That's what happened to mine...steve_earwig wrote:Oooh, sounds like a cage nut that's not actually in a cage any more![]()

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
Re: rear seatbelt anchor
Thanks Steve the cage nut had departed from where it was fixed, had to grind the bolt off from inside but I dont advise this method as I went through 7 wires in the wiring loom FFS.Anyway my Son managed to hold the nut from underneath the car
while I tightened it from the inside of the car .Everything is working now apart from the fuel guage which is showing full
. The Knowledge Base article by waue1978 was invaluable as it stopped me attacking the rear of the seat and doing more damage than I already had done
