Just a quick Hi

Post by Blue2 »

I'm new to all this club / forum stuff, but a friend of mine told me it would be a good idea to join, so I have. I have had a couple of 405's which led onto a 1998 406 2.1TD which I loved, unfortunately I p/x'd it on a People carry for a family holiday, but decided to come back to having a 406. I now have a 52 plate 2.0 HDi 110 bhp GLX in China Blue, lovely car just a few bits that need sorting, but I got it at a good price, so don't mind having to sort out a few problems. The first was getting the alternator changed due to that annoying whining noise, next I've changed back to the Peugeot Clarion Radio/CD player ( just needs coding to the BSI, so I found out on here, thanks everyone ) next is to change the Climate Control Panel ( display only showing bits) and so on. I'd better stop rabbiting on, or you'll get sore eyes having to read all this jibbering of mine. Well hi everyone and I'm sure we'll have plenty to talk about in the future. Happy motoring everyone.

Thanks all for the warm welcome, I have noticed that under my user name it says 1.6 8v, is this supposed to relate to my car? if so it's wrong as I have a 2.0 HDi 110 bhp GLX !

It's a user ranking related to engine size fitted to the 406

The more you post the higher it gets until you have a 3.0 24v

**EDIT** Sorry where's my manners - Welcome to the forum
1999 D8.5 HDi GLX - Sold :(

2007 Mondingo Zetec - I seek forgiveness :( Bring back my 406
