D8 estate breaking silver, update

Post by TRAVIS BICKLE »

Ive decided im going to break the stealth wagon :(
I am kinda downsizing. Ive just built a new garage and the 406 is too large to fit in with the mrs 206, so its been decided the 406 will be replaced with a 306, and the reason the 406 is being broken is because its going to donate its engine, gearbox, driveshafts, hubs and brakes to the 306
So everything else is up for grabs or will be when the tax runs out next week.
Its a 2.0 Exectutive turbo.
See my 7 seat conversion in my other for sale thread, all the panels are reasonable apart from the N/S/F door which has a few dents in it, the tailgate is good, the leather interior is in okay condition but not brilliant the heated seat pads dont work anymore, and the electric seats have lost their memory but all still move as the should with the switches. Stuff will be cheap to get rid of it fairly sharpish, let me know if there is anything you need and il check the condition and sort out a price. :D

Following parts NOT available
Tailgate
rear bumper
front fog lights
7 seat conversion
ENgine / box / ecu / loom / driveshafts
wheels
bonnet
front bumper / foglights
Rad / condensor / intercooler
front hubs / brakes
rear hubs / brakes
CD multichanger
Seats
Mirrors
N/S/R door
Sunblinds
Rear lights

sooooooo...
I may need the MDF, heated seats switches set, memory seat ECU and switches (what's wrong with the memory?).
Do you have the wooden trim or some nicer one? May need also all leather doorcards if they are still fine and postage isn't too much. I have a saloon, rear doorcards are the same?
Also needing folding mirrors motor and heating mechanism, together with folding switch if still in good conditions. May be needing window glass motors too, if they still work perfectly. Mine are starting slowing down...

What kind of radio do you have?

It doesnt have leather door cards :( I think the pass side heated seat works, It doesnt have folding mirrors (as far as i know lol) the front seats work fine with the switches forward, backwards up and down, it just doesnt do anything when you press the memory buttons. Its never bothered me being the only driver. Ive never like the electric seats as they weigh a ton :( I must be losing a couple of mpg due to the extra weight.
It has the original pug radio cassette with 6 disc multi changer (all working) and the stalk controls I have the code for it also.
The passenger side door mirror has been replaced at some point but whoever did it must have got one from the scrappy as the multi plug has just been cut off :(
The front electric window motors are fine but the back ones are a little slow, but every now and then ive run some wd40 down the glass channel and it seemed to restore them for a while.
Estate and saloon doors are not the same but i think its only the top of the frame thats different,
The MDF works. :cheesy:

You have folding mirrors if on the plug to move the external mirrors you have a white dot on the opposite of the neutral position dot. If you turn the control 180 degrees mirrors should fold. I thought all executives had that.
I'll let you know if I need some of the stuff, I gotta see if my radio is completely gone or it is a momentaneous period of agony.

MY D8 doesnt have a turny thing, just a left / right switch. Yours will be different being the later D9 model.

If you still have heated seats switches only I may get them, if the P+P is right.

The switches are okay and light up when pressed but only the passenger seat warms up, in the history there is a diagnosis of the drivers heated element faulty but the guy decided not to get it done.
