Hi,
ithink the engine number is located in the middle of the engine block near the fuel filter area,
thats what icouid work out off a diagram,
it also refers to it being on the cambelt cover too idont know if thats true tho,

My 2.2's got a little aluminium label stuck on near the top of the cambelt cover, facing the inner wing afew inches forward of the strut top.
