"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

More importantly

i noticed that the price of petrol and diesel at my local filling station is the same. Even better;
THEY HAVE WENT DOWN

last week £1.44.9 diesel
this week £1.37.4 diesel

its not enough obviously it needs to be at or under a pound a litre but heck its went down a tad.

Our fuel company has dropped it's fuel price from 118.78p + vat to 114.20p + vat (137.4p) for the coming week

i prefer the price without vat

apparently in america where "gas" is half the price they are giving out about it being so expensive. They havent really been introduced to the joys of the diesel engine, peugeot could try again over there, they would have a better run this time with the hdi engines.

Its half the price, but they use twice as much.
They're also a bit snobby about 4 cylinder engines.

On ebay.com about 2,000 / 35,000 vehicles are diesel, and most of those are 8 cylinder. 100/7000 sedans are diesel and 200/7000 SUVs are diesel.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

I think VWgroup are making inroads to the diesel market with their TDi Passats and A4s.

is inroads good?
it seems their new TDI engines are no longer worthy of the worst sound imaginable they have done something to shut the noise up. but i still prefer diesel peugeots they understand the customer doesnt actually want the engine noise to remind them of a diesel
