I reckon theres definitely a market for the type of people who think that the epitome of motoring is an ancient underpowered basic base model BMW, the type that would likely try and type their name anywhere. "Timmy!"

Is that not why Nissan used to sell Cedrics etc :cheesy:

Imagine going to a car dealers and looking for a steven. "certainly sir you want an old slow bmw that cant drift, the only redeeming feature on a bmw in a country that experiences snow"

The thought though of some guy thinking "I'd better sell my crappy bmw because I got the GF preggers" or similar, putting his name in the ad title, then mashing the keyboard for the ad itself.

And for a 96 car, I think he's done the old autotrader trick of leaving a 0 out of the mileage...

pregnancies seem to force the sale of a lot of cars
i sold a nice wee 318i a while back it was owned by the one lady owner from new and was stored in a garage all its life every service stamp to its current mileage of 78,000 miles was there it was completley original clean and smelt like new. it was sold for £1000 as a bmw 318i se a better buy than a timmy or steve

Would be a handy buy for an ex-pat.

UK cars are frowned upon, possibly uninsured, and a nightmare to re-register in Spain.
