rev counter issues

rev counter issues

hi i removed the epic pump of my 2.1 a while back but as some of you know the rev counter only works to 3k then cuts out untill you restart the car has anyone found a solution to this? i also heard somewhere that the pre 96 ones dont suffer with this can anyone confirm this thanks

AFAIK everyone that does the Bosch pump swap reports the same issue.

Pretty sure no solution has been posted hereabouts, (but would be happy to be proven wrong if anyone knows better).

The converesions all appeared on various bio fuel forums so perhaps it'd be worth keeping an eye on them.

I was surprised to see my uncle's 2.1td XM is Bosch, although the engines on them are BTEs, not ATEs.
