will d8 lights fit the d9?

Discuss the 406's Bodywork stuff in here (what parts fit what, what can be interchanged with what etc etc).

After a quick look on Servicebox:

D8 & D9 rear wings are the same part number

D8 & D9 rear bumpers are different though

Both rear lights on the Servicebox diagrams look like identical fixings though.

i can confirm changing the back end of a 406 into a D8 from a D9 is possible

me and lozz have just had cars together and looked. lights have exactly the same fittings. as well as the bumper and boot.

all the bumper bolts are in exactly the same place on both the D8 and D9

the boot is identical as well on the inside.

basically on the inside its exactly the same. its only the outside thats different

SOOO Bailes . if you do buy a D8 and make it to a D9 the back end will be a peice of cake

Yup it looks like a half hour job to d9 a D8 rear end,
id say the front end wouid be a doddle to do too,

it be just a case of picking up a cheap Fubard d9 with Good bumpers wings etc the same colour as a d8 and swap bits over,
it wouid be the cheapest way me thinks,

Thanks for the wheels gary and thanks for helping swapping them over,
they make the car look 50times better, ithink ican take off my Lx badges now its got some decent rims 8)

I imagined it would be slightly different myself, in that, I thought part of the redesign was to increase the volume of the boot space?
