I did this a while ago, but thankfully I had a friend who was a legit car trader & most transactions were carried out through him so that if anything happened, we were both covered. Got to be honest though, apart from a couple of really good ones, I didn't make enough to be worth all the hassle of dealing with the public.
paint isnt actually that bad to the eye. it does look a lot worse on the picture . nah its not a regular thing. just happened to come accross this by luck.
a good mate of mine sold it me and he wouldnt sell me anything if it was dodgy or knackared.

i took it round block today. and i'm actually quite shocked to how good the little thing drives. it pulls quickly and soon gets to 40mph. i was really shocked.
no knocks or bangs it really is a solid little thing

2moro when ive give it a good proper valet and got some wheel trims on it , it should look very presentable. and with it being a 1.1 petrol it should be a quick seller. fingers crossed.

tcut works a treat on faded red cars, i did it to my old 205 and it did a good job.
and it turned my jeep from smokers yellow to american teeth white.

Looks alright that 106 gary,
it wouid look better with the wing mirrors colour coded or painted black,
set of cheap chrome plated wheel trims wouid make it decent looking too,

The little 106s are fetching a fair price atm, ive seen em or R plates For sale on the sides of the Road 700+
there one of the cheapest puggys to insure Makes them good sellers, 8)

My next door neighbour had a 106 on a Y plate its just sold for something like £2k

much easier than trying to paint them back up
