Hello!

Post by eire22 »

Hello all. Im Dave from Ireland Ireland and just bought a 406 hdi 90 lx as a run around. I have a few questions for ye!

I found this website while searching for a crank shaft pulley bolt...I just replaced the timing belt 25k overdue  aux drive belt, waterpump and crank shaft pulley So should have trouble free driving for a while
But the bolt has seen better days. Do any of you know the part number of it or a link to a website to buy it.

Probably a stupid question but how do you reset the trip computer?!

Also can i convert the heating controls to the electric digital type..what parts do i need to source from the breakers apart from the panel itself?

Thanks Ill have more questions later!!

On the wiper stalk, there is a button on the end, it should have 2 arrows on it, bit like a fast forward button symbol - I "believe" you hold it down for a couple of seconds to reset

Been asked before, and would entail a lot of wiring change, and probably just not viable to do

Hello, 'Dave from Ireland Ireland' & welcome to the forum. 8)

It would help if you let us know what year your car is, as there are many differences in equipment levels and the electrical systems that support them.

Anyway, best I can tell, you need:

Reference Description Quantity Price - VAT Price
0000051660 PULLEY SCREW M14X150-70 1.74 GBP 2.09 GBP
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
