Peugeot Oracles, please clarify part number!

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Peugeot Oracles, please clarify part number!

Post by OutFishing »

Hello Peugeot Owners,

My last question didnt do that well...in fact it nose dived!

Could i try a different tact, does anyone out there work for Peugeot? or can anyone clarify if Peugeot Alarm 9671.ZK is the correct alarm for a Peugeot 406 HDI (90) 1999 facelift as quoted by my main dealer?

last question in order to connect up central locking and deadlocking bit of alarm, would i be right in thinking that the BSI actually does the central and dealocking and does anyone have a pin out of the correct wires to connect?

Please, Please help me,

Thank you

Garry

servicebox can help you out, as said post or PM the vin and someone (me included) will be happy to check on servicebox if your car has that or something else.

I received your PM and checked, as far as I can see the correct item is 9671 ZG sut strangely enough it's under "electrics - alarm - ACCESSORIES", when they usually are under RECHANGES (dunno how servicebox says it in english, mine is in Italian).
So take it with a grain of salt, I'd talk with the dealer, but they usually know what they are ordering...

Hello OdinEidolon,

thanks for the reply, after speaking to to main dealer again this weekend, he is certain that 9671.ZK is correct for my car a D9 406HDI 1999 (90) with BSI but WITHOUT multiplexing, eventually he rang back to confirm that it should work fine wit my car and he was looking on his version of Peugeot internet at the application details to fit it onto my car, i said "great could you do a screen print for me to help me" to which he replied "no we dont have print access" I then asked if i could have the details of the central/dealocking connection points" and was told that the alarms are aftermarket alarms and should be fitted by the main dealers!

any help for the wire numbers on the central locking/deadlocking wires of a BSI but not multiplexed would be greatly received.

thank you

As far as I know that kind of stuff is not free on servicebox. You have to pay for access. You can get a complete 406 manual on CD with wirings and so on on eBay for some quids.

Judging only by the name, yes. What is it, by the way? If you can spend a few quids on eBay you can get all you want, you only need a computer with XP or an XP-able OS (any Linux based OS running wine or W7 in compatibility mode)
