My 406 although is a 90 bhp i had it remapped to 120 bhp and the economy actually got better.
I use the car for taxi work doing approx 950 miles a week.

i always use either shell or asda and get the same mpg from both.
the car never drops below 42 mpg even round town.

Typically i get approx 800 miles a tank full easilly with refill normally being approx 70 litres.

It's called slipstreaming behind the biggest, slowest trucks I can find ;)

I thought they were meant to do the same 28mpg extra-urban as the turbo?

If I recall (too much claret and cigars decays the brain!), Pug claim within 1 or 2 mpg the same between the 90 and 110. Don't forget, most of my motoring is dual carriageway or open country roads at off peak hours, so I typically am able to roll along at an uninterrupted 55-60 mph.

I wonder sometimes how we manage to go from the Fuel Economy of a Diesel engine to 'Poaching an Egg' in one thread :?

The mind boggles............
