its less about whats inside the place more about making the day a bit more than a pub car park somewhere at the side of a dual carriage way, some of us are coming a long way for this you know

We are all car enthusiasts first and French car enthusiasts second i think  , so a car is a car is car, if you get my drift

Ha!
Yea, you couldn't be more correct my friend :)
fortunately- driving one of the most un-economical saloons peugeot has to offer- Gaydon is only a tad over 45 miles for me 8)

Forgive me if I'm being unobservant- but what date are we looking at?

i think we should let the poll run a while longer and then decide on date based on the votes, its looking like the bank holiday weekend is winning at the moment, personally i reckon the traffic would be awful then but its a democracy so lets see what happens.

Even though I didn't vote for it- 13th of August (though a minority vote) would be cool- birthday & 406 day out combined :)

Is the 27th a bank holiday? If it is i'll recast my vote to the 20th saturday as bank holiday driving doesn't sound too good to me.
Also the 10th-14th is a no for me as thats my annual cornwall pilgrimage.

The bank holiday is Monday. 29th so yes, it's that weekend. I think a few people now believe we'd be better avoiding that weekend. I voted for all the Saturday's, but in hindsight, I'd like to 'unvote' the 27th.

I'll second that one. Bank holiday traffic is a nightmare wherever you're going. Can I "unvote" the 27th too please?
