Hi there to you all, this is my first post on the site.
I am looking for a diesel tank 'Fuel Pump' (I think it is called a low pressure pump) does anyone have one at all.
My car is a 406 estate, 1997cc, LX HDI 110hp manufactured in 2000 and it is 'W' reg.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance
Ian

Re: FUEL PUMP WANTED
Some tips: with the fuel pump assembly you'll need also the seal. You can get that from the dealer only, it's fairly cheap.
Good luck finding one used in good conditions. I got my low pressure pump new from eurocarparts.
Replacing is very easy, don't let the dealer steal 40£ from you adn do it yourself in half an hour top.

Hi there thanks for replying.
Do you have a contact No or web address for eurocarparts please, also can the pump be removed from under the rear seats or does it come out from below?
Many thanks in advance ans also for taking the time and trouble in replying

Regarding the part number ECP stocks 2 things, but they should be the same. I got this.
The pump comes out from the top, the hole should be just big enough but may need some very basic cutting with proper metal scissors.
The stuff I got from my peugeot dealer are part numbers: 153141 (seal) and 153141 (dunno if this is really necessary).
The haynes manual describes well how to replace the pump, I'll also link you a couple of interesting readings, but in french sadly. Pics help.
