heasdlight replacing

Got to replace passenger side headlight , 3 fixings right ? got the ones by the grill and top . what about the one by the wing ? anything to watch out for or remove first ? I `ve looked at the KB article about D9 ones but of course mines D8

from memory there is a spring accessed from the wheel arch, a bolt on the slam panel and a fiddly one on the grill side of the light, easy to get out but i never did get the spring back on when I fitted the replacement, pretty solid without it tho.

Blimey, now here's a thing, i'd forgoten about the springs on the back of the headlight. They never got replaced after changing the air con condensor 3 or 4 years ago. Been through 3 or 4 mots since then no probs. The electric height adjusters still work fine to. Just had a good look, and I can see no obvious problems with them not being there for that time.
Make your own conclusions, but mine is fine without them.
