Err...

1726 SC - REAR SILENCER - 4 DOOR SALOON
1726 HQ - REAR SILENCER - ESTATE
1726 NX - REAR SILENCER - COUPE 2 DOORS

It's for a 2.2 coupé. It looks to me like the tail pipe is much shorter than the estate one but the diagrams are fairly generic so I can't tell you if that's the only difference - how does it compare to the one on your car? (Apart from not looking like a tea bag...) The centre sections are 1717J2 all three, so it's down to the hangers and if there's any difference in the angle it joints the centre section, and if you can figure out a way of extending the tail pipe.

the drivers side hanger is in the worng place - on my car its on the back corner where on this on it is half way down the box.

i thought i could get a hanger extension welded on.

i'll ask about the tail pipe. i recon my local exhaust place could extend the tail pipe (even weld on a shiney tip).

just thinking - how thick are the box walls? could a new hanger be welded on?

FWIW, I did some comparisons a while back & concluded the only differences between exhausts, (for the same engine), on coupes, saloons or estates was the length of the tail pipe. (which is kinda logical really).
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Apart from the hangers of course...

There was something about this a while back over on the coupe club, worth a search?

well i just been to see my local powerflow guy who mended my exhaust the last time it needed work. my exhaust is oem and it will be staying mild steel as i just cant afford SS so i asked him about gettig this one to fit. he said no problem. they will either weld on a new hanger, or weld on a piece of bar to the exhisting hanger on the new box to make it fit. they will also adjust the tail pipe to make it longer.

price? 20-30 quid. cant moan at that!
