Re: Lexia PP2000 Machine
It doesn't really look any different to mine, which was admittedly confusing to install / configure but worked OK. I had trouble getting it talking to my car, but that was down to no power to my diagnostic port. I don't think anyone on here has failed to get theirs going so far.
Even if the software was dodgy, there's enough free downloads around, or one of us will lend you theirs. You're really paying for the interface.

dogslife, yep they are the same outside, but inside not.
The problem of the clones on my 406 is the ECU engine, i have tryed 2 different clones and one couldn't connect and one said that the ECU didn't have a known reference and didn't allowed to enter it anyway ...tryed both ways, global test and single test ... it worked with everything ( with some bugs on programming aspect but works), but engine not ..bah...

Unfortunately, it appears impossible to tell which is which. And what's with the C5 & 307? What's different about those? Some Lexia adds warn you that the product won't work with them, others don't - is it just a case of them not saying?

my clone one has been very good, ive now got access to all the bsi settings, and ive finally got the type c display i can program the car to accept it and make the steering controls work aswell, only issue is it doesnt do the measurement im not sure how its done.
Re: Lexia PP2000 Machine
The install process of PP2000 showed a picture of a separate measurement interface box if I remember correctly...

Why you say " i've now got access to all bsi settings " ? You didn't had ? What did you do to see all the settings on BSI ?FarmerPug wrote:my clone one has been very good, ive now got access to all the bsi settings, and ive finally got the type c display i can program the car to accept it and make the steering controls work aswell, only issue is it doesnt do the measurement im not sure how its done.

Re: Lexia PP2000 Machine
there is global test and it tests each system and then you can open them read them for faults and change properties. Doing it that way didnt open the bsi, so instead what i did was test by function and got into the bsi that way.
by the way i have a remote intemittent fault coherence between the two brake signals which it illuded to being a potential cause to the cruise controls intermittent issue, how do i fix that?

If you watch the switch status on screen as you slowly push the brake pedal, you should see a difference in the travel required to actuate them. (I think it's the one for the stop lights last, but I did post the right answer on sombody's CC questions quite recently, if you want to search).
